Review

CyberLink PowerCinema 5.0 is an all-in-one solution that will allow you to transform your PC into a digital entertainment center. With this incredible program you can watch TV, listen to the radio, burn DVDs, record your favorite programs, read the news, among other interesting things. The program offers a nice and elegant user interface, which can only be controlled with your mouse or a remote control, but not with the keyboard, which could be considered a disadvantage for some users. A great feature of PowerCinema is that it enables you to record TV shows or also program it to save it on a DVD or hard drive. The system requirements to use the program are relatively high, so be sure to have them before you actually buy it. Moreover, you can edit and display BMP, JPG and PNG file formats, as well as create slide-shows with nice transition effects and background music. It also offers some photo enhancement features such as red eyes remover, and it adjusts brightness or contrast automatically As regards music, PowerCinema rips CDs, plays MP3 files and also displays music visualizations and album art. As a DVD player, it supports multiple subtitles, high definition playback with great audio and video quality.
Advantages
  • Great value for an affordable price. Nice and elegant user interface. Easy to use. All-in-one solution.
Disadvantages
  • None.
